3 years agoThe Baltimore Ravens re-signed safety Tony Jefferson to an undisclosed deal on Thursday. The 30-year-old initially signed to the team's practice squad on Dec. 133 an was elevated to the active roster with Baltimore's secondary wiped out by injuries. Jefferson led the team with 10 tackles in Week 16 against the Cincinnati Bengals and had 18 tackles in four games to close out the season. The veteran defensive back was a defensive leader for the Ravens from 2017-19 before he tore his ACL in Week 5 in 2019. He was released that offseason and missed all of 2020.
