2 years agoThe Baltimore Ravens plan to release safety Tony Jefferson, according to a source. The Ravens drafted Kyle Hamilton in the first round this offseason and also signed former New Orleans Saints standout Marcus Williams, leaving less opportunity for Jefferson, who had a strong preseason with nine tackles in one half in the finale last Saturday against the Washington Commanders. The 30-year-old veteran safety played in only six combined games with the Ravens and San Francisco 49ers last year, recording 18 tackles (nine solo), one sack and one pass defensed.
