6 years agoThe Baltimore Ravens acquired running back Ty Montgomery from the Green Bay Packers on Tuesday, according to a source. The Packers shipped Montgomery away after a crucial fumble on a kickoff return in the Week 8 loss to the Rams. He hadn't done much on the season for Green Bay, having no more than five carries or 31 rushing yards in a single week. He'll boost the depth behind Alex Collins in Baltimore but is mainly just a handcuff and nothing more. His presence is bad news for Javorius Allen, who has been phased out of the offense in recent weeks.
