4 years agoTampa Bay Rays first baseman Ji-Man Choi (hamstring) and third baseman Yandy Diaz (hamstring) both got to take swings Thursday against rehabbing left-hander Jose Alvarado (shoulder). But while both could return at some point during the postseason, it’s likely that only one will join the playoff roster ahead of Tuesday if they’re limited to solely pinch-hitting. That news also rules both out as fantasy assets over the final days of the regular season, in addition to making neither a DFS play when the Rays open their postseason series Tuesday.--Jesse Borek
