Recent Struggles Make Robert Woods Risky In Wild-Card Round
4 years agoLos Angeles Rams wide receiver Robert Woods has seen a drop in numbers lately. After topping 70 yards in seven of the first 12 games of the season, he failed to do so in each of the final four games. His receptions per game through 12 games were 5.9, but that dropped to 4.8 over the final quarter of the season. Add in the likelihood of a backup quarterback taking the field for the Rams and that Woods had four catches for 36 yards against Arizona without Jared Goff and you get the recipe for a mediocre game from Woods. There are more affordable DFS plays that offer a better chance of success this week.
