4 years agoThe Boston Red Sox have officially added right-handed pitcher Zack Godley to their player pool after the 30-year-old agreed to a non-roster invite to summer camp earlier in the week. Godley will have less than a week to battle for a spot at the back of the Red Sox rotation and prove that he should be a part of the Opening Day roster. The 30-year-old posted 15 wins and 185 strikeouts over 178 1/3 innings as a member of the Diamondbacks rotation in 2018, but the veteran struggled immensely last season with a combined 5.97 ERA between the Diamondbacks and Blue Jays bullpen. Godley should be disregarded in standard fantasy formats, as he will match up against the American League East and National League East divisions over the course of the 2020 season.--Denis Vondrus - RotoBaller
