3 years agoAccording to Jon Heyman, the Boston Red Sox have entered the sweepstakes for free-agent first baseman Freddie Freeman. This means the Dodgers, Blue Jays, Yankees and Red Sox are now all reportedly in on Freeman. One thing is clear, and that is that Freeman will no longer be an Atlanta Brave after they dealt for Oakland Athletics first baseman Matt Olson on Monday. Wherever Freeman lands in 2022 and beyond, he will supply a ton of power and average after he slashed .300/.392/.503 with 31 bombs in 2021.
