4 years agoAfter experimenting with an opener and a six-man rotation in 2020, Boston Red Sox manager Alex Cora announced on Monday that the Red Sox will be returning to the five-man rotation. This is promising fantasy news for each of the Red Sox starters, who will now have free reign to eat up innings, but none more so than Nick Pivetta. If the Red Sox went with a four-man rotation, it's likely that Pivetta would have been the odd man out and served as a long reliever or swingman. Now that he is in the rotation, his upside is worth taking a late-round flier on.--Daniel Fox
