2 years agoThe Cincinnati Reds recalled shortstop Jose Barrero from Triple-A Louisville on Wednesday. One of the organization's most promising prospects, Barrero made his Major League debut for the Reds last season, hitting .200 with a .286 on-base percentage and a stolen base in 56 plate appearances. So far in 2022, the 24-year-old is batting .209 with a .262 on-base percentage, nine home runs, and five stolen bases for Cincinnati's Triple-A affiliate. He's certainly a name to watch in dynasty leagues but is likely only an option for fantasy managers in deeper redraft leagues at the moment.--Ben Rosener - RotoBaller
