Redskins Defense Holds On In Road Win
5 years agoThe Washington Redskins Defense finally played winning football for most of Week 6, albeit against the lowly Miami Dolphins. The Redskins picked off Josh Rosen twice and sacked him five times. Washington didn't allow Miami any momentum on offense until Ryan Fitzpatrick took over at QB in the fourth quarter. If not for a failed two-point conversion by the Dolphins that would have won the game, the Redskins defense would likely be lamenting the collapse that allowed Miami to erase a 14-point deficit in the first place. This unit will look to tighten things up against a much better 49ers team at home in Week 7.
