5 years agoThe Washington Redskins Defense played with admirable pride in a hard-fought 19-16 win over the Lions on Sunday. Detroit was playing without its franchise quarterback again, which means this performance must be viewed through the appropriate scope. Still, the Redskins' efforts held the Lions to one touchdown on the day and resulted in four Lions turnovers. Banking on a repeat showing in Carolina next week would be unwise, but the Redskins defense rewarded the very small fraction of fantasy owners who rolled the dice on them in Week 12.--Chris O'Reilly
