4 years agoToronto Blue Jays catcher Reese McGuire took Pete Fairbanks deep in the seventh inning for his first home run of the season in the team's 4-1 loss to the Rays on Saturday. He finished the afternoon going 1-for-4 on a day where the Jays failed to generate much offense. McGuire is on the wrong side of a 60/40 platoon with Danny Jansen, and likely won't usurp his teammate even if he continues to swing a hot bat. As long as Jansen stays healthy, McGuire is only worth rostering in deep two-catcher formats.--Riley Mrack - RotoBaller
