3 years agoThe Los Angeles Angels have activated starting pitcher Reid Detmers from the 10-day injured list and optioned him to Triple-A Salt Lake on Thursday. Detmers was placed on the IL on August 25 after a positive COVID-19 test. The 2020 first-rounder has started four games thus far, posting a 7.11 ERA, with 17 strikeouts and five home runs allowed over 19 IP. He has just 60 minor league innings under his belt but has put up much better numbers with a 3.15 ERA and 106 strikeouts. Detmers had little fantasy relevance already and probably won't appear with the Angels again this season unless Shohei Ohtani can't make his final start. With top of the rotation potential, however, he's a good arm to stash in dynasty leagues.--Spencer Seguin - RotoBaller
