3 years agoHouston Texans running back Rex Burkhead was the lead back in their Week 15 win over the Jaguars. Burkhead saw 16 carries for 41 yards but failed to score. He also managed one catch on three targets for six yards. This was the perfect situation for Burkhead to have success. The Texans jumped out to an early lead and moved to a run-oriented approach. However, Burkhead was only capable of 2.6 yards per carry and saw mediocre results in the passing game. The Texans backfield remains a hands-off situation until someone with talent emerges. That probably won't come to close out this season.--Jacob Taylor
