6 years agoThe New England Patriots will place running back Rex Burkhead (neck) on the Injured Reserve on Wednesday after he injured his neck in the Week 3 loss to the Lions, according to a league source. Rookie linebacker Ja'Whaun Bentley will also go on IR with an unknown injury. It's unknown if Burkhead will be able to make it back this year, so fantasy owners should try to stash him for now if they have the room. It's a tough break for a Patriots team that is 1-2 to start the year. The values of James White and rookie Sony Michel go way up with this news.
