4 years agoSan Francisco Giants relief pitcher Reyes Moronta (shoulder) is throwing fastballs off of a mound and could still return to the team in late August, per TheAthletics.com's Andrew Baggarly. Moronta suffered a shoulder injury last August and had surgery this offseason to repair a torn labrum. The 27-year-old had a solid 2019 campaign, posting a 2.86 ERA and 1.31 WHIP with 70 strikeouts and 33 walks in 56 2/3 innings pitched. Moronta's 97-mph fastball and tough slider make for closer stuff, but his late return to an already shortened season limits his potential fantasy value in 2020.--Connelly Doan - RotoBaller
