Reynaldo Lopez Goes Four Innings In No-Decision
3 years agoChicago White Sox starting pitcher Reynaldo Lopez went four innings in Saturday's no-decision versus the Kansas City Royals. Lopez filled in nicely when Carlos Rodon missed a few starts last month and with Lucas Giolito (hamstring) and Lance Lynn (knee) both placed on the 10-day injured list earlier this week, Lopez got another chance to start. The right-hander allowed three hits, three runs, one walk and struck out one on the evening. Lopez has been performing well when he has been summoned to make starts for the Pale Hose and he has also pitched well out of the bullpen. Next up for Lopez will be a tough matchup versus the Boston Red Sox on Friday. Lopez is 3-1 with a 2.08 on the season and can be considered in favorable matchups moving forward.
