Reynaldo Lopez Suffers First Loss
3 years agoChicago White Sox starting pitcher Reynaldo Lopez suffered his first loss of the season on Sunday versus the Tampa Bay Rays. Lopez went four innings and allowed six hits, three runs, zero walks and struck out four on the afternoon. The right-handed has been filling in Carlos Rodon (shoulder), but Rodon is expected to return next week and that will send Lopez to either the bullpen or Triple-A. Lopez is now 2-1 with a 1.86 ERA between the starting rotation and bullpen this season. He can be avoided in all formats with his role moving forward being uncertain.
