Rhett Ellison Starts At Tight End For Giants
5 years agoNew York Giants tight end Rhett Ellison started for Evan Engram (knee) on Thursday night, making three catches for 23 yards on his seven targets, four of which came on the final drive in garbage time. Even if he sees more starts as Engram recovers from a knee injury, Ellison won’t be usable unless Saquon Barkley and Sterling Shepard are also out. If any Giants players come back, he’ll just fall farther down on the list of priorities. It's best to look elsewhere for help, even at a thin tight end position.
