3 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies first baseman Rhys Hoskins (groin) is classified as day-to-day, according to manager Joe Girardi. Hoskins left Thursday's matchup against the Nationals because of a groin ailment and was subsequently held out of Friday's series opener against the Pirates. While it wouldn't be a surprise if he weren't available throughout the weekend, he still has a chance to make it back relatively soon. In the meantime, Brad Miller will likely cover the bag until Hoskins is back in the mix.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller
