Rhys Hoskins Blasts 16th Homer Of Season
3 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies first baseman Rhys Hoskins went 2-for-5 with a solo homer in a loss to the Nationals on Tuesday. Hoskins pulled the Phillies within one run with an eighth-inning homer off of Tanner Rainey, but he couldn't play the hero in the ninth as he grounded out to shortstop with the bases loaded to end the game. The big first baseman now has four homers in his last five games with eight RBI in that span. Hoskins has his slugging percentage up to .481 as he's heating up with the weather as the season turns to summer. He's a must-start fantasy option with soft matchups on the horizon versus Erick Fedde and David Peterson.
