4 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies first baseman Rhys Hoskins had his first big night of the season with a three-RBI night vs the Mets. He also walked and scored a run in the contest. Hoskins came up with the bases loaded in the fifth inning and promptly scored all three runners with a double. To say Hoskins has struggled to start the season is quite the understatement as the slugger has just four RBI on the season and is batting .208. Despite the slow start, Hoskins appears to be just fine as his walk rate and strikeout rate are both better than his already-stellar career numbers and he's sporting a 41.2 percent hard-hit rate. Keep Hoskins in starting lineups as he's a notoriously streaky hitter and he's showing sign a hot-streak may be coming soon.--Mike Schwarzenbach - RotoBaller
