6 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies first baseman Rhys Hoskins continued to show off his power on Wednesday, as he hit his 35th double and 32nd home run of the season in the Phillies' 4-0 win over the New York Mets. It's been a while since the Phillies have seen a power output like this, with Hoskins being the first player to hit 30 home runs — let alone 32 — since Ryan Howard hit 33 home runs in 2011. Hoskins looks like he'll be a perennial 30 home run threat for the Phillies, and considering his 23 percent strikeout rate is not all that bad for a slugger of his caliber, he'll likely be one of the higher end first base options come draft time next season.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
