Rhys Hoskins Managing Groin Injury
3 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies' first baseman Rhys Hoskins (groin) is uncertain for Saturday's game against the New York Mets due to a groin injury. He missed Friday's game, and his availability for Saturday's contest is in question. The 28-year-old is considered day-to-day but could be available off the bench on Saturday. Hoskins is slashing .244/.332/.509 with 24 home runs, 68 RBI, 61 runs scored, and three stolen bases over 434 plate appearances in 2021. Fantasy managers will most likely be without the Phillies' first baseman for another day. Brad Miller will continue to handle first base duties while Hoskins is sidelined. Miller can be used as an option in NL-Only league formats after hitting .226 with 10 homers and 30 RBI over 199 at-bats in 2021.
