Rhys Hoskins Stays Hot With Three-Run Blast Versus Nats
3 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies first baseman Rhys Hoskins went 1-for-4 with a three-run homer to help defeat the Nationals on Monday. Hoskins is riding a modest four-game hit-streak and is hitting the ball much better than his .232 batting average would indicate. Hoskins is in the top 10th percentile in baseball with a .522 expected slugging percentage which is much better than his actual .486 slugging percentage. He's got an elite 15.4 percent barrel rate and his usual, strong walk rate which has helped him put up a .320 on-base percentage despite his low batting average. Keep him locked into fantasy lineups as few hitters offer as much power upside as Hoskins when he's hitting the ball well.
