3 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies first baseman Rhys Hoskins went 2-for-4 with a two-run homer and an RBI double to help the Phillies beat the Nationals on Wednesday. He won't hit for a high average as he's batting just .239 even after this game, but Hoskins has a strong .329 on-base percentage thanks to a 10.7% walk rate. He hits for power as well as he's slugging .505 with 24 homers on the season. Fantasy managers will need to live with the bad batting average, it's who Hoskins is as a hitter, but his power upside makes him a must-start 1B in fantasy, particularly in leagues that reward OBP.--Mike Schwarzenbach - RotoBaller
