Rhys Hoskins Takes Another 0-for-5 Versus Braves
4 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies first baseman Rhys Hoskins went 0-for-5 with two strikeouts in a loss to the Braves on Tuesday. It was the second-straight 0-for-5 game for Hoskins after he put together a 12-game hit-streak. The lefty slugger is a traditionally streaky hitter so the Phillies and fantasy managers hope he can snap out of this before it becomes a slump. There are concerning signs with Hoskins this season like a career-high 27 percent strikeout rate and a career-low 8.1 percent walk rate. Hoskins has two tough matchups on the horizon as he'll face a lefty on Wednesday followed by Ian Anderson. He can be benched for those matchups if other first basemen are available.
