3 years agoNew York Mets starting pitcher Rich Hill is tentatively scheduled to make his team debut by making the start on Sunday against the Blue Jays, according to Anthony DiComo of MLB.com. Hill was just acquired from Tampa Bay on Friday after going 6-4 with a 3.87 ERA, 1.164 WHIP and 23.4 percent strikeout rate over 95 1/3 innings with the Rays this season. Despite switching leagues, Hill will be in line for his second outing of the year against Toronto, where he'll look for better results after allowing three runs on four hits and three walks with two strikeouts in five innings against the Blue Jays earlier this month. Unlike in his last outing though, Toronto will be on the road for Sunday's game, which could make it a good matchup for Hill as the Blue Jays are hitting worse on the road this year (.249/.310/.413) than at home (.277/.342/.495).--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
