Rich Hill Gets Hit Hard In Sunday's Start
7 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers starting pitcher Rich Hill had a lackluster outing in Sunday's 8-7 extra-innings win over the Mets. Hill allowed four runs on five hits (including a two-run home run) and a walk with five strikeouts in five innings. The 38-year-old has yet to replicate the success he has had in the past few seasons and now has a 5.30 ERA with an ugly 4.04 BB/9 rate and a 2.02 HR/9 rate over 35 2/3 IP. He will look to rebound in his next start Friday in a decent matchup against the Rockies at home, although fantasy owners would not be blamed for sitting him until he can show some success.
