Rich Hill Gives Up Four Runs To The Reds
3 years agoNew York Mets starting pitcher Rich Hill gave up four runs to the Cincinnati Reds Saturday on five hits and a walk in five innings. He struck out four batters. Most of the damage came via the long ball, as Hill yielded a two-run shot to Eugenio Suarez in the fourth inning and a solo shot to Kyle Farmer in the fifth. As with the Tampa Bay Rays before his trade to the Mets, Hill has appeared to lose effectiveness after the second time facing the opponent's batting order. This severely limits his ability to pick up wins and quality starts, thus placing him in the streaming category at best for fantasy purposes.
