Rich Hill Lined Up To Start On Wednesday
2 years agoBoston Red Sox left-hander Rich Hill (knee) is expected to be activated from the 15-day injured list in order to start on Wednesday against the Houston Astros. Nathan Eovaldi and Kutter Crawford will start the first two games of the series on Monday and Tuesday, respectively. Hill, 42, went only three innings and 56 pitches in his only minor league rehab start for Double-A Portland last week, so fantasy managers shouldn't expect him to have a long leash in his first start back this week against a tough opponent in the first-place Astros. Before his injury, Hill had a 4.20 ERA and 1.29 WHIP with 58 strikeouts and 23 walks in 70 2/3 innings over 15 starts. There isn't a ton of fantasy upside left in his left arm.
