3 years agoTampa Bay Rays pitcher Rich Hill allowed one earned run on three hits and one walk while striking out five across three 1/3 innings during Monday's 9-8 win over Cleveland. He did not factor into the decision. The southpaw threw three scoreless innings before surrendering an RBI single to Franmil Reyes in the fourth frame. He threw 57 pitches, firing 41 for strikes. It was the 41-year-old's shortest outing since May 2. Hill owns a 3.65 ERA, 1.11 WHIP, and an 85:31 K: BB across 86 1/3 innings in 2021. The veteran right-hander will look to pitch deeper into the game in his next start at home against the Blue Jays.
