7 years agoFree-agent cornerback Richard Sherman is scheduled to meet with the San Francisco 49ers on Saturday, according to sources. San Fran would like to make sure Sherman has healed from his Achilles surgeries in the offseason, but they could sign him to a deal before he leaves the meeting. The Niners are trying to upgrade their defense, and the veteran Sherman would surely help them in that regard. Sherman is a Northern California native and would also get to face his former team, the Seahawks, twice a year, so this could be a perfect match.
