6 years agoBoston Red Sox starter Rick Porcello was lit up by the Toronto Blue Jays on Thursday night. Porcello only went four innings, giving up seven earned runs on six hits while striking out five batters and walking three. The loss pushed his record to a solid 14-5 on the season, while his ERA rose from 3.84 to 4.17. Porcello has been consistent for the majority of the year and has not had too many egregious performances like this. He will always have a chance to win due to the potency of the Red Sox lineup even though his ratios leave a bit to be desired. He is a decent SP3 or SP4 in most leagues.--Raymond Harrison - RotoBaller
