Rick Porcello Gets Victory In Short Outing
7 years agoBoston Red Sox starting pitcher Rick Porcello threw 89 pitches to get through 5 1/3 innings in a victory against the Tampa Bay Rays on Saturday. He allowed one run on six hits with four strikeouts and one walk. It is not surprising as Porcello has always done well in Tropicana Field, in contrast to his performance in his home park of Fenway. He had a 1.27 ERA in Tropicana in 2017, but a 5.43 ERA at Fenway, where he is lined up to see these same Rays in his next start.
