7 years agoBoston Red Sox starting pitcher Rick Porcello has an uphill battle to obtain his sixth win of the season Saturday. First, he takes the mound against the Orioles, a team that has a career .290 batting average against him. In 18 starts, Porcello is 4-11 with a 4.88 ERA and 1.31 WHIP against Baltimore. Second, he does not historically do well in the confines of Fenway Park, where he has a 4.30 ERA and 1.26 WHIP to go with a .297 batting average against. However, he is 2-1 with a 3.54 ERA in 2018. If you are one to forego any risks at all, Saturday might be a day to give Porcello a rest.--Ellis Canady - RotoBaller
