7 years agoBoston Red Sox starting pitcher Rick Porcello overcame a mediocre history against the Orioles and pitching at Fenway to earn his sixth win of the year in a 6-3 victory Saturday. Porcello scattered six hits over six innings while allowing three runs and three walks but striking out nine batters. Most of the damage done was a two-run shot in the sixth by Pedro Alvarez. Porcello will pitch again in Boston in an interleague play against the Braves for his next outing.--Ellis Canady - RotoBaller
