6 years agoBoston Red Sox starting pitcher Rick Porcello takes on the Toronto Blue Jays Tuesday in search of his seventh win of the season. He already leads the team in wins, even over the likes of Chris Sale and David Price. This further demonstrates that you cannot plan for wins. Porcello is 9-9 in 21 career starts with a 4.92 ERA against the Blue Jays. In a matchup earlier this year against them, Porcello went seven innings, allowing three runs and nine strikeouts in Toronto. He has been much better this year than his career average.
