Ricky Seals-Jones, Curtis Samuel Absent Thursday
3 years agoWashington Football Team tight end Ricky Seals-Jones (concussion) and wide receiver Curtis Samuel (hamstring) were both sidelined at practice on Thursday for the second straight day. It would be a surprise at this point if either player were to suit up on Sunday for the Week 18 regular season finale against the New York Giants in a meaningless game. Seals-Jones had to be stretchered off the field last week, and Samuel has now been out since Week 14 with a hamstring ailment. Rookie John Bates should be the primary pass-catching tight end for Washington with Seals-Jones banged up. Samuel has had a lost season in his first year in D.C. due to groin and hamstring injuries, as he's only played in five games.
