Ricky Seals-Jones In Concussion Protocol
3 years agoWashington Football Team tight end Ricky Seals-Jones (concussion) has been placed into the NFL concussion protocol after he was stretchered off the field in Week 17. Seals-Jones collided with a cameraman and was ruled out with a neck injury, but head coach Ron Rivera mentioned today that he only suffered a concussion on the play. It is safe to say that Washington will keep him out of action for a meaningless Week 18 matchup with the New York Giants, which would put rookie John Bates in line for the start. Bates found the end zone in Week 16 and was able to catch three passes for 35 yards in Week 17, so he could offer some upside for fantasy managers looking to fill in for any potential inactive tight ends on Sunday.
