3 years agoThe back-to-back weekend races may actually favor Ricky Stenhouse Jr. this weekend. He starts seventh on Saturday behind a strong sixth-place result at Nashville last week. Combine that with a 12th at Charlotte a few weeks back and there is optimism for the JTG-Daugherty Racing driver. Was last week a fluke? Not necessarily. The No. 47 has the car and ability to stay near the front. Saturday's race for Stenhouse Jr. boils down to avoiding mistakes that have plagued the driver most of this season.
