3 years agoRicky Stenhouse Jr. and JTG-Daugherty Racing have had a bit of a wild ride this year. The lack of big results though has made this a season of what might have been, Since a four-race stretch from Vegas to Bristol, Stenhouse Jr. has not come close to stringing together four top-12 finishes in a row. There is the problem. Between that and the wrecks and car issues, Stenhouse Jr. just has not been able to put any runs together to have a shot at "The Chase". At least the No. 47 driver has stayed on the lead lap in two consecutive races. That is progress. Asking for a top ten result on the road course at Indianapolis does not look likely. --Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
