7 years agoDallas Cowboys head coach Jason Garrett said that tight end Rico Gathers "needs to play more football." Gathers spent all of last season on Injured Reserve due to a concussion he suffered in the preseason after not appearing in a single game in his rookie season. Garrett explained that the team could "practice five times a day and that wouldn't be enough for him." Despite a wide open tight end depth chart and Gathers clearly offering some huge upside, it seems he'll need to do quite a bit to earn playing time in his third season in the NFL.--David A Marcillo - RotoBaller
