7 years agoDallas Cowboys tight end Rico Gathers is reportedly weighing 282 pounds, up from the 265 pounds he clocked in at last season. Gathers commented, "I was going for more trying to be quicker, trying to be faster, but that hurt me in the blocking game a lot where I felt like I was just a body, just a body catching a blow." The Cowboys tight end depth chart is wide open since Jason Witten retired, and Gathers will be one of the players competing for a role on offense.
