Riley Greene Moves Rehab To Triple-A
2 years agoDetroit Tigers outfield prospect Riley Greene (foot) is moving his minor league rehab assignment from Single-A Lakeland to Triple-A Toledo on Monday. In two games with Lakeland, the Tigers top prospect went 2-for-6 with two RBI and a stolen base. Greene fractured his right foot at the tail end of spring training and likely would've opened the year with the Tigers. With Robbie Grossman, Austin Meadows and Victor Reyes all injured as well, the Tigers would love to have the No. 2 prospect in all of baseball patrolling center field as soon as possible. The 21-year-old should take over starting center field duties by the end of this season, and he should be stashed now in most fantasy leagues if he's available.
