3 years agoUpdating a previous report, Detroit Tigers outfield prospect Riley Greene (foot) exited Friday's Grapefruit League game against the New York Yankees early after fouling a ball off the inside part of his foot in the third inning. Greene is awaiting the results of X-rays that were taken. It remains to be seen if the 21-year-old will be ready for Opening Day after having a strong camp. He tripled off Gerrit Cole in the game before departing with his foot injury. Greene, who is baseball's No. 5 overall prospect entering the year, has an intriguing power profile and is the favorite to finish the year as Detroit's starting center fielder.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
