7 years agoNew England Patriots wide receiver Riley McCarron was placed on the active roster from the practice squad on Thursday, according to a source. In a corresponding move, second-round cornerback Duke Dawson (hamstring) was placed on Injured Reserve. McCarron could see some playing time right away with Julian Edelman suspended to start the year and the Patriots thin at the position. However, McCarron is still likely to be behind Chris Hogan, Phillip Dorsett, Cordarrelle Patterson, Chad Hansen and Matthew Slater.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
