6 years agoNew England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski is reportedly on track to return to the lineup in Week 12 against the Jets. Gronk has not played since October 29 and has been dealing with ankle and back issues. Quarterback Tom Brady told reporters that his favorite target is "itching to come back" and will go up against a Jets defense that is allowing the fourth fewest fantasy points to opposing tight ends. The Jets have done a fantastic job of taking away the tight end in the opposition's passing attack this season and are allowing only 24 receiving yards a game to the position. Gronk has only one touchdown catch this season but it is getting to the point in the season where the talented tight end needs to get on the field and begin producing. His status needs to be monitored this week but, if he is active, needs to be in all lineups for Week 12.--Joey C - RotoBaller
