Rob Gronkowski Truly Undecided On Playing In 2022
3 years agoDrew Rosenhaus, the agent for free-agent tight end Rob Gronkowski, said his client is "truly undecided" about whether he'll play in 2022. Gronk has hinted this offseason about likely returning to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, but he wants to take his time. Of course, the Buccaneers want him back, and quarterback Tom Brady has unretired, so if Gronk does want to play another season, it'll almost certainly be in Tampa. The 32-year-old has been courted by the Buffalo Bills this offseason, but that was before Brady came back. O.J. Howard is now with the Bills, so if Gronk doesn't return, Cameron Brate will actually be in the TE1 picture. Gronkowski, although injury-prone, would remain a TE1 if he comes back for another season after catching 55 of 89 targets for 802 yards and six touchdowns in 12 regular season games in 2021.
