7 years agoThe Cleveland Indians traded outfielder Rob Refsnyder to the Tampa Bay Rays in exchange for cash considerations. The move was made necessary when the club acquired left-handed relief pitcher Jack Leathersich off waivers from the Pirates. Refsnyder was hoping to make the Cleveland Opening Day roster as a reserve, but he struggled mightily in Cactus League play and was told he would not make the team. He'll have a much better chance for playing time as a member of the rebuilding Rays, but he isn't likely to end up with much fantasy impact regardless.--David A Marcillo - RotoBaller
